There’s a famous self-portrait of the artist Coop, a Satanist, where he looks like the devil smoking a cigar. This image was very popular in tattoo culture. Back in the day you’d see it posted in lot of tattoo shops. This represents the dark side of tattoo culture which is now changing.

I commissioned illustrator Mark Fisher to do a portrait of me where I look like an angel as the smoke from my corn cob pipe forms a halo around my head. This image was created to represent the current tattoo culture because tattoos are now more accepted by the mainstream as a positive form of self-expression—especially in the sober community.
