Roses T-Shirt

I created the Roses design as a tribute to my Mom. At age 83, and a few years after Dad’s passing, Mom decided she wanted to get a rose tattoo to celebrate her maiden name “Bellerose” which means beautiful rose.

Dad didn’t appreciate tattoos unless you were a biker or a sailor, but Mom is very intrigued by the whole tattoo process. So, I told Mom that she could watch me as I get a rose tattoo to honor her.

A rose tattoo exemplifies love won or lost and has been popular throughout the ages as a symbol of the highest level of passion. This gives my rose tattoo special meaning because Mom and Dad were married for over 50 years.
